Prague, Prague, Prague

The whole time that I've been in Europe I keep hearing how about awesome Prague is and how everyone loves Prague. I didn't understand why until I actually went. I'm joining the bandwagon and I LOVE PRAGUE. Awesome Buildings with sweet architecture. Since Prague wasn't destroyed during the war a lot of the buildings have been preserved. Which means that there are a bunch of super awesome buildings. In Prague there is this really cool Astronomical Clock. I have no idea how to read it. The travel book tried to explain it but I was still super confused. BUT it is still a super cool clock and on the hour rings and things move and it is super cool. In Prague there is the Prague Castle. By the Castle is St. Vitus Cathedral. It is Gothic style architecture. It's pretty awesome. Leisel and I went to the Wallenstein Palace Gardens. These were fun. THERE WAS AN ALBINO PEACOCK!!!! I have a billion pictures of the Albino Peacock. There was also a regular peacock but the albino peacock was way cooler. In the gardens there is this crazy wall. There are hidden snakes and frogs and dragons and all sorts of things in the wall. It is a very interesting wall. Kind of creepy looking too. One of the coolest things about Prague was the Jewish Quarter. Unfortunately it wasn't allowed to take pictures but there were really neat synagogues. And there was this cemetery where all the tombstones were crooked and tilted. The reason for this is because this area was the only area for the Jews in Prague to be buried so over the years people were buried on in all the nooks and crannies of the graveyard. And even on top of other people. This caused the tombstones to be all over the place. It was a very interesting place to visit.

There was a really cool bridge. It's called the Charles Bridge. It was really cool because there were a ton of vendors on the bridge selling cool trinkets and what not. There was a way cool band of people playing fun songs. And there were a bunch of artists selling paintings and things. The bridge had a really fun atmosphere. Something that I really liked in Prague was the Lennon Wall. During Communist times people would spray paint words of hope and freedom from Beatles Songs on the Lennon Wall. Everyday the wall would be painted over. Then at night people would come back and spray paint more inspiring words. Now, the wall is a symbol of love and peace. All and all Prague was amazing. I loved the history in the city. I loved the buildings. I loved the food. I just loved everything about Prague. I loved that it was my last big trip during my European stay. Prague was a great adventure.
